Transportation
In order to get to Crimea, you can travel to Sevastopol, Simferopol or Kiev. You can make your own travel arrangements. Please, note that Simferopol International Airport receives many international flights. Sevastopol's newly-opened airport has connecting flights from Kiev and Moscow. Kiev-Borispol airport has connecting flights to Simferopol or to Sevastopol. Istanbul is also a good location to take a connecting flight to the Crimea.
Train and bus tickets are fairly inexpensive. You can reach any place in Crimea by bus for the most for the equivalent of $10-15 (one way). First class sleeper ticket for Kiev-Sevastopol train will cost you about $30.
A plane ticket (Ukrainian airlines) will be around $80-100 to fly from Kiev to Sevastopol or Simferopol.
While in Crimea you can rent a taxi or a mini-bus to travel from place to place. It will cost you from $50 to 70 a day depending on distance and the car model.
